Mason Brusseau

Associate Director – Team Manager

Mason Brusseau leads Talonvest’s Underwriting Team and is responsible for the production of investment packages, including market research, financial analysis, and underwriting for self storage, commercial, hospitality, and multifamily transactions. He also assists with due diligence, competitive bid scenarios, and closing processes for the firm’s clients. Mason has 6.5 years of commercial real estate underwriting experience and comes from a family of commercial real estate developers in Southern California.

He is an active member of the Southern California commercial real estate community, including participation in the NAIOP SoCal Young Professionals Group 2024 to 2025 Program, where he received the John B. Parker peer-voted award recognizing the participant who best demonstrates the leadership, communication, teamwork, and skills that are integral to the program. Mason also serves on the NAIOP SoCal Night at the Fights Committee.

Prior to joining Talonvest, Mason worked as a Research Associate at Meyers Research, a market leading national advisory practice providing residential and commercial recommendations, economic, demographic, and housing market trends. Mason earned a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and a minor in Real Estate from San Diego State University.
