Tyler Mergler

Director – Capital Markets

Tyler Mergler works closely with clients and capital partners to deliver tailored debt and equity solutions, guiding transactions from initial underwriting through successful closing. His responsibilities include financial analysis, structuring capital solutions, coordinating competitive lender and investor processes, negotiating loan documentation, and overseeing execution through closing. Tyler has more than six years of experience in commercial real estate, spanning originations, underwriting, and portfolio management.

Prior to joining the firm, Tyler served as a Portfolio Manager at J.P. Morgan, where he managed a $3 billion commercial real estate portfolio of across Southern California. Throughout his career, he has underwritten over $2 billion in commercial real estate debt transactions. Earlier roles include underwriting and acquisitions experience as well as business development work within a startup environment.

Tyler earned undergraduate degrees in Finance and Economics from the University of South Carolina and is currently pursuing his MBA at the Cornell SC Johnson School of Business.

He is actively engaged in community service and is a member of the Associate Board of Directors for Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. Outside of work, Tyler enjoys volunteering, supporting local causes, and spending time with his wife and dog.
